The WINDC logistics center is designed to meet the development needs of Wumart in the Beijing region over the next five years. Covering a total floor area of approximately 62,400 square meters, the facility is divided into key functional zones as follows: Dry Goods Warehouse with a clear height of approx. 11 meters and an operational area of about 47,600 square meters, holding a total inventory of 900,000 items with an average turnover period of 8 to 10 days; Fresh Produce, Daily Grocery, and Frozen Storage with a clear height of approx. 8.7 meters, covering 6,600 square meters to support multi-temperature operations. In terms of distribution capacity, WINDC achieves a total annual distribution value of approximately RMB 7.2 billion: dry goods RMB 6.25 billion with a daily throughput of 200,000 items; fresh produce RMB 300 million with a daily throughput of 250 tons; chilled daily groceries RMB 500 million with a daily throughput of 8,000 items; frozen products RMB 150 million with a daily throughput of 2,000 items.

The design philosophy of WINDC was jointly developed by Wumart and the Vstrong project team, based on Wumart's business model and insights from multiple site visits. The guiding principle is: High-level digitalization + Extensive mechanization + Targeted automation—aiming to enhance operational efficiency while ensuring system flexibility, scalability, and a sound return on investment.
